We had an amazing opening ceremony of the exhibition last week in Kabul... more then 600 guests ..and we will continue at streets of kabul and other towns and other possible places.

Op zondag 11 mei geeft HH de Dalai Lama tijdens zijn 3 daagse bezoek aan Nederland in AHOY een boeddhistische les en een publieke lezing. Op deze dag worden, als onderdeel van een speciaal voor deze gelegenheid samengestelde Audio Visuele Presentatie, een aantal fragmenten uit KINDNESS vertoond.

Na het festival heb ik een ontmoeting met CINEMAKER. Sinds de oprichting van deze groep in 2010 begeleid ik een van hun jongste leden Juboraj Shamim, schrijver en regisseur van PUTUL.

professional matters to even check my personal mail.I just got overwhelmed to read your mail. We the CINE MAKER are now counting days for your arrival in Bangladesh.You are the person who inspired us to get grouped, can you remember you told us about 'seed'? We all had seeds individually inside the hearts but could not nourish before meeting you, you are the binder of our togetherness, I mean it.So we are very happy to get you among us.
We planned to submit three films in the festival from CINE MAKER, but unfortunately all the films are in post production for a long time.As none of us is that solvent to make films only, we can't involve longer sessions there.But still we are trying to get the jobs complete.PUTUL is now in it's dubbing, JAATRA is in it's visual effect and IMAGE OF A CITY needs to be re-edited..what ever, keep us in your prayer.We will be very proud if we can show even one of our films in the festival in front of you.

Weerzien in Dhaka
Clémentine is van 5 tot 21 januari aanwezig op het 12 e Dhaka International Film Festival, in Bangladesh.
Festival directeur Ahmed Muztaba Zamal heeft haar namens The Rainbow Society uitgenodigd om zitting te nemen in de Jury ( Spiritual Section) en tevens, samen met Workshop Director Steve Warne (Australie) , mede bedenker, organisator en uitvoerder te zijn van BANGLADOX, een 6 -daagse Filmworkshop die tijdens het festival plaats vindt.
Aan de hand van KINDNESS zal Clémentine een masterclass geven getiteld: Het gebruik van Fictie in een Documentaire.

ZONDE, krijgt haar Nederlandse premiere tijdens het Scenecs Festival.
"Nu dan eindelijk een Nederlandse première op het Scenecs Festival in Amersfoort. Een leuk klein festival dat dit nu geloof ik voor de 7e keer doet. Het festival loopt van 2 t/m 6 november en Zonde wordt 2x vertoond op vrijdag 4 november om 22:43 en op zaterdag 5 november om 12:31. De vertoning op zaterdag de 5e wordt opgevolgd met een Q&A sessie.
Let wel: de versie die hier wordt vertoond is die van 54 minuten, dus schrik niet als er misschien een 'darling' van je uit is geknipt. www.scenecs.com.
De film is aangekocht door het digitale TV kanaal Out TV die de gay doelgroep bedient. Het contract is getekend en ik wacht op het uitzendschema. De film wordt dan in 9 landen uitgezonden.

Op 24 juni wordt KINDNESS vertoond op het 5th Addis International Film Festival in Ethiopie.
Brief Message of Director:
The Addis International Film Festival is one of the most entertaining kinds of festivals which many of Addis residents
look forward to. Organized by Initiative Africa, this year’s Festival will be a little shorter due to a smaller budget. Still,
we will be showcasing more films in many more places than last year.
The Festival was born in 2007 with the generous support of the Finish Embassy to trigger conversation about impor-
tant issues of our day. Five years later we continue to provide better quality programming to an increasing number of
audiences. The Festival is committed to presenting innovative forms of film and video as a medium for raising public
awareness of world issues. By opening some windows to the world in each screening, we hope to make an audience
member aware of an issue, and thereby make that person reflect on it, make the issue his or her own, and perhaps
then... do something about it.
Our deepest gratitude to all of the filmmakers who submitted their work, and to all those who have so generously spon-
sored the 5th Edition of the Addis International Film Festival. Without you, none of this would be possible. Many thanks!

ZONDE heeft op het Park City Film Festival de Gold Medal for Exellence gewonnen voor beste score.
Vorig jaar kreeg Simon op dit festival een prijs voor de filmmuziek van KINDNESS.

Une Lettre du Tibet parle de la sagesse dúne nation
De organisatie Aimer La Vie heeft de franse versie van de DVD van KINDNESS voltooid.
Initiatiefnemer Yves Lebert, al meer dan 15 jaar pleegouder van Sonam Tsehering, een van de acteurs uit KINDNESS, heeft al 100 exemplaren van de DVD verkocht.
